Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy

Effective Date: July 20, 2026

At Fire & Feast, we want every customer to receive fresh food and dependable service. Because our food is prepared specifically for each order and is perishable, refunds and cancellations are handled according to the following policy.

Carry-Out and Online Orders

Please review your order before leaving whenever possible. If an item is missing, incorrect, or has a quality problem, contact us promptly on the day the order was received.

We may request:

  • Your name and order number.
  • A description of the problem.
  • A photograph of the item.
  • The original receipt or order confirmation.

Depending on the circumstances, we may replace the item, provide store credit, or issue a partial or full refund. Refunds are not normally provided because of personal taste preferences or for food that has already been substantially consumed.

Order Cancellations

Regular carry-out orders may be canceled for a refund only if food preparation has not started. Once preparation begins, the order may no longer be refundable.

Catering Deposits and Cancellations

Catering orders require advance purchasing, scheduling, preparation, and staffing. Deposits and payments may therefore become nonrefundable as the event date approaches.

Unless different terms are stated in the customer's written catering proposal:

  • Cancellations made at least seven days before the event may receive a refund, less any nonrefundable deposit, payment-processing costs, special-order purchases, or expenses already incurred.
  • Cancellations made fewer than seven days before the event may result in the loss of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled event may require full payment and may not qualify for a refund.
  • Custom orders, specialty ingredients, and food already purchased or prepared are nonrefundable.
  • A request to reduce the guest count or order quantity is treated as a change to the catering order and is subject to the same deadlines.

Weather and Unexpected Events

If severe weather, an emergency, or another unexpected situation affects an event, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the order or provide an appropriate credit when possible. Costs already incurred may remain nonrefundable.

Delivery and Third-Party Orders

Delivery charges may not be refundable after delivery has been attempted or completed.

Orders placed through DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, or another third-party platform may need to be reported directly through that platform. Its refund and credit policies may apply.

Approved Refunds

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method. Processing times vary by bank and payment provider and may take several business days.
